2 Day Practical Rifle Class
This exceptional entry-level, course provides you with the practical skills of the accomplished rifleman.
Prerequisite Class(s): None – entry level course
ALL students must show photo ID at Sign-In, regardless of age!
Upon completion, you will have the ability to quickly strike center hits from a variety of shooting positions at ranges out to 100 yards.

Lecture Topics Include:
Use of Deadly Force and the Law; Color Code of Mental Awareness; Civil Liability; Weapon and Ammunition Selection; Ballistics; Zeroing, Sight Adjustments, and more.

Firing Range Drills Include:
Loading and Unloading; Carrying Positions; Ready Positions; Shooting Stance; Sight Alignment, Sight Picture and Trigger Control; Rapid Assumption of Kneeling and Prone; Target Engagement from 3 to 100 yards under Time Pressure; a Tactical Simulator and more.
200 rounds of factory ammunition required. NO steel core or steel jacketed ammunition allowed. Please check the bullet with a magnet before arrival.

Firearm and Equipment Requirements:
The weapon must be fully functional, have all factory-installed safety devices intact, and have no dangerous modifications (such as a “hair” trigger less than 4 pounds, removed trigger guard, etc.)
The weapon`s caliber must be a rifle round of at least 5.56mm/.223 or larger and have an attached sling.
Electronic hearing protection is mandatory and is available at numerous retailers.
Elbow and Knee pads are strongly recommended.

Bring a lunch to the range both days
200 rounds ammo (MUST be factory loaded!)
Rifle Sling
Optional bi-pod or shooting sticks
Full wrap eye protection
Electronic Ear protection
Raingear (We shoot rain or shine)
Hat and sunblock
Knee and elbow pads (optional)
Drinking water (Camelback strongly recommended)
Bug Spray

Greg Glassock

Founder & CEO After leaving Law Enforcement and recognizing a need for high-level firearms and tactical instruction to industry professionals, Greg founded Olympic Tactical & Investigations. He began networking with industry leaders and worked his way up to Assistant Lead Instructor for the Washington Criminal Justice Training Commission Private Security/Private Investigator and Bail Enforcement Agent Firearms Division. He became a leader surrounded by instructors who had more experience but did not let that slow him down and mastered all the disciplines offered by CJTC. Greg then spent the next few years finding and vetting out those instructors with the same drive and ethics as his own to build a team of industry leaders of his own. He did not stop with Washington State when he reached the top he looked around and found other states with the same needs. He made a push into Oregon and California as well and now holds instructor certifications for the west coast. Greg is not only an instructor but holds credentials to teach and certify Instructors. Greg is active in the development of curriculum for private companies as well as state and federal agencies.
