1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using olytac.com (“the Site”) or any services provided by Olympic Tactical & Investigations LLC (“OlyTac,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree, you must not access or use our Site or services.

2. Scope of Services

OlyTac provides licensed investigative, intelligence, security, consulting, and training services to individuals, corporations, and government entities in compliance with RCW 18.165 and related federal and state laws.

Any specific service engagement will be governed by a separate written contract, retainer agreement, or work order that supersedes or supplements these Terms where applicable.

Website content, informational materials, or public resources provided by OlyTac do not constitute professional advice or create a client relationship.

3. Eligibility

You may use our Site only if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old;
  • Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement; and
  • Will use the Site and services for lawful purposes only.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, especially if misuse, misrepresentation, or unlawful intent is suspected.

4. Confidentiality and Client Relationship

All communications with OlyTac are treated as confidential consistent with RCW 18.165.130 and applicable professional ethics standards.

However, a client relationship is established only upon execution of a written service agreement and acceptance by OlyTac. Submission of information through the Site or email does not create a client relationship or obligate OlyTac to take action on your behalf.

5. Lawful Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or OlyTac’s services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unethical purpose;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data;
  • Misrepresent your identity or authorization;
  • Submit false, misleading, or unlawful information during an engagement.

Violations may result in termination of access, civil liability, or criminal prosecution.

6. Fees, Payment, and Refunds

Fees for investigative or security services are defined in individual contracts or proposals.

  • Retainers are generally required before work commences.
  • Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated.
  • Refunds are not guaranteed once services begin, except as required by law or explicitly agreed in writing.

Late payments may accrue interest and reasonable collection costs, including attorney fees.

7. Reporting Obligations and Legal Cooperation

OlyTac may disclose limited client information if legally required under subpoena, court order, or regulatory mandate. We comply with lawful requests while maintaining confidentiality to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may also decline or terminate any engagement that would violate applicable laws or professional standards.

8. Ownership of Materials

All reports, photographs, videos, and deliverables produced by OlyTac remain our property until all fees are paid in full.

Upon payment, OlyTac grants the client a non-transferable, limited license to use the materials for their intended lawful purpose. Redistribution, publication, or modification of investigative materials without written consent is prohibited.

9. Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on olytac.com—including text, graphics, logos, and trademarks—is owned or licensed by OlyTac and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimers

  • The Site and its contents are provided “as is” and “as available.”
  • OlyTac makes no warranties—express or implied—about accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • We do not guarantee outcomes of investigative, security, or consulting engagements, which inherently involve risk and uncertainty.
  • Any reliance on information provided through the Site is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • OlyTac and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Site or services.
  • Our aggregate liability in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to OlyTac for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Certain jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some provisions may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OlyTac, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your:

  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Misuse of our Site or services; or
  • Violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or refuse future service without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful conduct.

All provisions that by nature should survive termination—including confidentiality, intellectual property, and limitation of liability—shall survive.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the seat of arbitration in Seattle, Washington.

You waive any right to participate in a class or collective action.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
